A recent anouncement of the reissue of one of my favorite authors Octavia Butler book “The Parable of the Sower” is exciting. I’ve read the book and it’s part of my library.

What I find absolutely thrilling is not only the new book cover but Nora Keita Jemisin new introduction. So much of what she wrote is a bit of reflection of my reading style. The ability to read a book a number of times through the years from “what is this” to “oh, now I understand what she meant.”
