I don’t know what the world would look like without books and the authors who write them. Today I salute Zora Neale Hurston 1/7/1891-
1/28/1960 the author of: Their eyes Were Watching God, Mules and Men, Dust Track on a Road, Every Tongue Got to Confess, Mule Bone, Moses Man of the Mountain, Seraph On The Suwanee, Tell My Horse, and Jonah’s Gourd Vine. I love this painting of Zora by the people of Sandford in conjunction with Paint The Trail and the 5th annual St. John Rivers Festival via the goldsboromuseum.com. I also thoroughly enjoyed listening to the National Radio Documentary “The Life and Times of Zora Neale Hurston” written and produced by Aron Myers:
